Basically just standard bulbs you run around and change your old bulbs in your house and install small box connected to your router. It’s pricey because it works very well which I can appreciate.
It’s gone down since I last looked it’s cool to walk into your house and say “Alexa all lights on” or off or red/blue/green whatever you like :).
Linking this Slickdeals URL if anyone hasn't ever redeemed anything off the Treasure truck and wants to know how to do so. Pretty good step-by-step instructions on here.
Edit: This is the regular listing on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Ambiance-Equivalent-Compatible-Assistant/dp/B07351P1JK/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1513787467&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=4+bulb+philips+hue&psc=1
So still $40 bucks cheaper than the general listing; which is already cheaper than usual.
EDIT #2: According to the app, this deal is dead. Completely sold-out now. Took roughly an hour or so to sell-out it seems like.
I think one big problem is Amazon's review page layout. The review should say who it was purchased from and also the multi-product pages don't split the reviews into products, so you have no idea which review is for which item or who sold it!
This is a poor example, as you'll know which bulbs you get, but it demonstrates the point: https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Ambiance-Equivalent-Compatible-Assistant/dp/B07351P1JK/
The reviews could be for any of those items, from any seller.
