the oxo-good grips scale is my fav.
got it on amazon and its a bit pricey but it'll last forever, and it scales up to 11lbs or 176 ounces
I had the orzei for a long time. The biggest issue was not being able to see the weight when putting a larger plate on it. Move to the oxo and love it. The display can be pulled out for when you are using a larger plate OXO Good Grips 11 Pound Stainless Steel Food Scale with Pull-Out Display https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079D9B82W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_.fQGBbY24W9B6
I use the OXO Good Grips food scale and like it a lot -- I'm able to weigh all sorts of pots and pans and dishes on it and the pull-out display means that you can actually see the weight even if the pot your weighing is wider than the scale surface. It also goes up to 11 pounds, so I've even been able to use it for larger dishes cooked in a cast iron skillet or dutch oven. It's on the pricey side, but it's been worth it for us since we cook a lot of family-style meals.
