It depends what you are doing. A bag is easy in many cases and very cute but I very much suggest a transport cage instead. It offers hard sides to protect against being crushed, better ventilation, It can't be chewed and is much more difficult to escape from. It also has room for food, water and more stable perches. In an emergency the bird can stay in the transport cage for a few days safely. My absolute favorite is the black heavy prevue travel cage by far. I've seen them come through car accidents intact it's what I use for planned trips. I recently picked up this to have a spare though. It folds down neatly and is large enough that my Green Cheek could happily stay in it on a long trip. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VVP0KU/ref=ox\_sc\_act\_title\_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
