I researched and found the HTC U12 plus was very close to the dimensions of the ZTE A7 Blade Prime. These cases are plentiful on Amazon. I bought this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DGJF2S5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I then took a dremel to make the holes for the flash, camera, speaker, headphone jack and two sensors. The case's hole for the HTC's camera exposes the fingerprint sensor just fine. Dremeling out the holes may not be the solution for everyone, but I wanted a case that would fit well. And it does fit very well. There is a tiny bit of play side to side as the HTC is 1 millimeter wider than the A7 prime, but the length is .1 millimeter off and the depth is .6 millimeters off, so it fits very well all things considered.
For a screen protector I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0817WY677/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Actually designed for the A7 prime and fits perfectly. Both items come from within the US and shipped with prime two day shipping. Very happy with both products.
EDIT: the side buttons don't match up at all, but the rubber is so soft, you can press all three buttons through the case regardless with no problems. I guess, you could cut out wholes for the buttons if you want to, but I didn't see the need.
