My work (food manufacturing) has at least 20 of the DeWalt portable job site radios that work well, have good reception, and cut through the machine noise. However, they've slowly been replacing them with Bosch ones which seem to work just as well and have extra features. Both are $179 on Amazon right now.

Edit: They're fairly expensive, but if you're worried about someone stealing it, then the rugged handles make a good spot to put a bike lock on it.
