I found this thread because I was comparing the FRIHETEN and this guy on Amazon.

I suspected as much about the comfort of the FRIHETEN, but these two both hit a middle ground that's really tough to find in furniture stores. This is for a rec room, not the living room, so I'm not really interested in spending $2k on it. I don't really want to spend $1k on it, but it's starting to look like I won't have a ton of choice if I want anything that isn't a futon.
