They both pretty much do the same thing - connect the tank to the bottle. I don't have experience using the one OP posted, but I considered that style before I picked the other one I posted from palmers. After using the palmers one, things I can see where it would be better:
Downside is a little more $$.
Fwiw - adapters similar to the one I posted are on fleabay and Amzn for $50-ish. eg. https://www.amazon.com/Cylinder-Adapter-Connector-Accessories-Sodastream/dp/B07QFVJCFJ/ but the ones I found at that price ship from China so - they are 30+ days out. Palmers had them in stock and shipped next day.
Last thought is to make sure you have a local place that can refill a 10lb tank. Near me, the welding place doesn't refill them on-demand - you just go in and swap your old tank for a filled one, and they only do 5 or 20lbs at my local store. You can leave a 10lb tank there and pick it up the following week when they do all their refills, but that seemed more hassle so I just went with the 20.
