They both pretty much do the same thing - connect the tank to the bottle. I don't have experience using the one OP posted, but I considered that style before I picked the other one I posted from palmers. After using the palmers one, things I can see where it would be better:

  1. You HAVE to weigh your C02 when filling. The long hose connection between the tank and bottle makes it easier to weigh while you are filling vs. estimate and then release excess to ensure you don't over fill.
  2. I found the tank-valve to be quite easy to open too much and cause the RPV valve to block the flow. I like that the palmers has a really good stop-valve that I can control the flow more easily with.

Downside is a little more $$.

Fwiw - adapters similar to the one I posted are on fleabay and Amzn for $50-ish. eg. https://www.amazon.com/Cylinder-Adapter-Connector-Accessories-Sodastream/dp/B07QFVJCFJ/ but the ones I found at that price ship from China so - they are 30+ days out. Palmers had them in stock and shipped next day.

Last thought is to make sure you have a local place that can refill a 10lb tank. Near me, the welding place doesn't refill them on-demand - you just go in and swap your old tank for a filled one, and they only do 5 or 20lbs at my local store. You can leave a 10lb tank there and pick it up the following week when they do all their refills, but that seemed more hassle so I just went with the 20.
