I am pretty sure the A119 V3 sells to Canada. That's the camera that I have and it works great. That's probably the most common camera that's recommended on Reddit and for good reason. It's high resolution, good build quality, and reliable. Just get the hardwire kit to go with it so you can have parking mode enabled.
It comes with 3M mounts and they are super hardy. Have not had mine come off in both Texas summers and Chicago winters.
This is what i'm planning to use. I have it our other car.

I just got the viofo a119 v3 which was highly recommended here. VIOFO A119 V3 2K Dash Cam 2560x1440P Quad HD+ Car Dash Camera, Ultra Clear Night Vision, 140-Degree Wide Angle, GPS Included, Buffered Parking Mode, True HDR, Motion Detection, G-Sensor, Time Lapse https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SRQH4R7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_DZTWTWXBEFXZHEHJE87Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The A119, I believe it's very popular. I spent maybe 15 minutes researching online. Seemed pretty clear cut if you want decent quality. There are of course cheaper cameras.

FYI, I followed this video for hiding the wire behind the A pillar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHGzEgxIwqo
The A119 V3 can be had for $80 right now...

Add a high endurance memory card like this...

And you're set.
a lot of dashcams will record motion events they can see, even after the car is turned off. for example, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SRQH4R7/ and you'll need the wiring kit to give it accessory power after the car is off https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JQ1JYPJ/
only really useful if you can back your car up so people approaching would need to come from the front... but a dash cam is a good thing anyways.
Definitely a good idea to have it to protect yourself at work. Can the company fund it for you? Will you have it remove it from your car regularly?
The general recommendation is the A119 v3 as its a good cross of value and features.. If you're looking for something cheaper, go for one of the many Aukey dashcams.
This is the one to get...the A119 V3. Tons of people on here have it and it's one of the best bang for your buck cameras. Blackvue is overpriced. Nexar is good too.
Don't get a battery dashcam. The battery will wear out quickly and those can over heat especially in a hot summer. The capacitor dashcams are way better. The work around for a cigarette lighter not working is to just hardwire it into the fuse box. I personally have had the A119 V3 for almost 5 years now and have it hardwired into the fuse box with this kit. Lots of youtube videos on how to do it to your specific car or you can have car audio shop do it for you. Never heard of the Miofive brand. There may be other options for less but at the same time you want to get something that will be reliable when you need it, otherwise it's a waste of money.
Hope this is helpful.
I got the A119 recently and it's great. I've had multiple dashcam brands in multiple vehicles over the years. The Viofo cams were generally the longest lasting (though I've never had an expensive cam like a Blackvue so can't comment on that). Also, they've recently stepped their game up in few things recently. First, the manual was the first manual i've ever gotten that didn't read like it was all Engrish and it was actually helpful. Second the V3 has really nice video quality. Third, it's pretty discreet. I have it high and tight next to the rear view mirror so it kind of looks like just a part of the assembly.
I didn't get the CPL one either. This is the one I got, if that's helpful to you. Not sure how useful GPS is going to be but thought it was worth it.
This is what I got. Install was super easy, maybe 15 minutes? I sort of tucked in the extra cable in the panels and it worked out really well.
Why not spring a little more and get the sub favorite Viofo A119? 4K and night starvis sensor, and HDR which is good for night or driving into the sun.
It's $89 after $10 coupon right now.

edit: Keepa plugin says there will be an Amazon Lightning deal May 30th, tomorrow, at 12:56 (not sure what time zone). Keepa says the Lightning deal is usually $84.99
GPS is a decent feature for syncing time and date. You can also show speed if you want to. Never heard of the FocuWay way brand and my experience tells me to go with what is well known. If a dual cam is out of your budget, go with a front only cam like the A119 as it'll cover 95% of all situation you need.
You should get a pair of A119 V3 with the GPS mount. My brother got one and the GPS mount is what you stick on the windshield and then you slide the camera on and off. Also, the power plugs into the GPS mount so you don't need to unplug it or plug it in...literally just slide it in.
Addtionally, it comes with the regular mounts which just are a piece of plastic that you stick on the windshield so you could use that on your third car. When you use that mount, the power cable plugs into the camera directly so you will have to do that extra little step. All you need is a third power cable or the hardwire kit they make for it. Or maybe even an extra usb cable to the cigarette lighter could work but I am not sure about that.
So you want a 4k front only cam under $200? I would just go with the A119 V3. A lot of the 4k cams on the market actually are not true 4k and their video quality is lackluster. The A119 V3 is 1440p 30fps or 1080p 60 fps and the video looks good too. The video quality is fantastic in the day and great at nigt.
