I was kinda disappointed by baby deals for prime day. Also, Amazon registry discount is 15%, so you have that in the back pocket. I thought Black Friday was WAY better before my first. Most of the actual expensive things we used/liked for #1 weren’t on Prime Day sale! (Bob jogging stroller, baby bjorn bouncer, joovy nook high chair, Chicco 3-in-1 travel system, hiking backpack, Hatch rest, infant optics 8, silicon bibs, Bumkin & munchkin products...)
They do have some generic diaper/wipe deals and lots of deals on diaper bags if you’re not set on a specific one, but nothing mind blowing.
However, these were worth at least a meh:
-Chicco keyfit car seat (used with son until around age 1), 25% off. Warning: this is good if you need a standalone car seat but not if you’re planning to get a “travel system” which is like the car seat + stroller frame it can snap onto. Unless you need a second seat, which we did for daycare purposes - I pick up and spouse drops off. - Ola baby spoons, 33% off, $10 instead of $15... but you still only get TWO fancy silicon spoons. I never bought them bc of price - got Beaba 2nd stage ergonomic spoons instead and love ‘em. - Bentgo kids print lunch box!!! $22 from $30/40. These are actually pretty cool if your kid attends daycare and you have to pack their lunch. Downside is you can’t heat stuff up separately unless you have other plates. Ok , you don’t really need this til they hit preschool, but still .... - Sarah wells pump bag . If mama is pumping at work (or plans to), this is actually a pretty decent deal on a bag that looks like a Longchamps but is actually for a pump. Warning... if she hasn’t gotten her pump yet, companies sometimes try to bundle the pump with a bag and claim that’s what your insurance covers. Or pumping/BF might not work out. So proceed with caution.
Honestly not buying a thing this year bc I always found better pricing buying used on amazon, Craigslist, with a registry discount or coupon, or with a 1st time subscription discount or something.
