I have the same problem as you regarding wack a doodle sleeping patterns. I've never OD'd on anything, but had the problem of skipping doses because I couldn't remember when I took my last one, though taking too much was a concern.
I addressed that concern by buying a planner on Amazon like this one:
You don't have to get that one but you should get one ASAP. Just type "planner" into the search box and pick which one you like. Don't bother with "calendar" or "organizer" because it won't pop up the right stuff.
I write down each day what I took, what time I took it and the dosage. It's saved me multiple times so far!
