Yes, you can upgrade the ram.
Aha my bad, I’ll paste another link. And yes, the laptop you have has one slot of 8gb, and another EMPTY slot for more Ram. You can either go for 32gb and take out the one ram stick and replace both with 16gb, or just place another 8gb stick into the empty dual channel slot ^ Let me know if this link works!

There's one problem with the Victus 15-fa0031dx, It has very sluggish performance from running in single channel mode with only one stick of RAM.
It's an easy, inexpensive fix.
Crucial RAM 8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 (or 2933MHz or 2666MHz) Laptop Memory CT8G4SFRA32A
It's good for approximately 40% more performance.

Yes, I think the battery have some issue, because also use this laptop for home office ( using word, excel, gmail, some web application, keyboard light off and a usb for wireless mouse) and only 2 hours battery life!!
Cool. Ima save money, so ima keep the 8gb, and just put in this one. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08C4Z69LN/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A2NDNAPHQ3UDKH&psc=1
Short answer, yes they can run. However, ones with intel iris Xe will struggle alot.
Assuming you have 12gb or more ram, you will be limited by your gpu mostly. If your main goal is gaming, then you should get the best gpu you can with your budget. Gtx 1650 demolishes/4265vs4090) intel iris Xe by a big margin.
So you should consider gaming laptops over normal ones. Any laptop with gtx 1650 will do the job. For instance, you can get cheapest hp gaming laptop, make memory 16gb and you will be able to get fairly decent gaming experience. You can even make it cheaper by buying and adding additional ram by yourself. if you want better experience, you can check laptops with better graphic cards. Like this one.
You didn't specify your budget so I tried not to go over the most expensive laptop you sent.
Keep the original stick, and just add another 8GB DDR4 SO-DIMM 3200Mhz CL22 1.2V stick from Kingston, crucial or Samsung.
Don't waste your original stick, this is all you need:

You want this:
This will take the 2nd slot to make 2x8gb=16gb dual channel memory. Biggest performance boost for the cheapest price. Videos on youtube on how to do the upgrade.
