Do you have redness or dandruff? If so, a lot of people use nizoral shampoo which helps with this. I just use regular shampoo with these silicone exfoliation brushes when I apply it (https://www.amazon.com/Shampoo-Massager-Brushes-Handle-Natural/dp/B07NRYPX4Q/ref=sr\_1\_7?crid=3G2J5KBBXAJKU&keywords=silicone+shower+brush+hair&qid=1661740897&sprefix=silicone+shower+brush+ha%2Caps%2C189&sr=8-7). I also did apple cider vinegar rinses once a week until things improved. I had dandruff and scalp discomfort for a decade, but my scalp issues were cured after doing this for a few weeks.
The opposite happens! You’ll read in the reviews about tangling...but I haven’t experienced any but it could be cause 1) I brush my hair before shampooing and 2) I shampoo in sections. Not necessarily parting the hair but I start right frontal then go left. Then middle right to left and end with back right to left.
And the brush has helped me grow hair! I lost a lot of hair from doing Brazilian blowout and now I have babies growing back!
