It's a good radio. Advertised at 10 watts but mine will do 9.75 watts 2 meters and 7.7 watts 70 cm.. Also Ham Radio outlet sell the Yaesu FT 65R and the Yaesu FT 4XR for $89.99.. I have all three of these radios and they work perfect. Hope this helps.
