If your laptop is thunderbolt 4 and you're fine shelling out the big bucks on a nice dock you can get some really good hardware. I bought the thinkpad thunderbolt 4 dock and it's worked flawlessly for me for the year I've owned it. There's no real set line between whats a hub and whats a dock with USB C. Docks tend to be bigger and have more ports, while hubs are more portable but less capable.

Most cheap USB hubs can accomplish what you want, but they tend to be not as capable or reliable. Something like this gives you two displayports, some USB ports, and an ethernet for $70 which is pretty good if it's actually thunderbolt. Or there's even this which is just two Displayports.

I'd personally avoid any hubs with HDMI on them. In my experience the displayport to HDMI converters in them tend to not be cooled properly and die very quickly. Displayport doesn't require conversion so that's less stuff to fail. At work we've gone through probably 20+ dongles, and so far the basic displayport only + a few USB 2.0 adapters work the best.

Something like this in theory should be good enough. It has two displayports so you could just ignore the HDMI and hopefully it lasts.

Also if you care, some technical info on why almost all USB C hubs suck: https://overengineer.dev/blog/2021/04/25/usb-c-hub-madness.html The tl;dr is they're all the same for the most part, so just buy the cheap junk if you're going for a hub.

You've actually had a number of options, but it depends on the manufacturer and model of your laptop for the direction that you want to go.

Also, the manufacturing model number of the monitor may give credence to some suggestions.

But with most modern laptops, purchasing a hub is going to be your best option.

USB C Docking Station Dual DisplayPort, MOKiN USB C Hub Dongle with 2 DP, HDMI, 3 USB A 3.0, SD & Micro SD Slot, PD Charging Port

Without investing in an actual docking station, quite a few of our clients have purchased this simple hub as a permanent fixture for their desktop environment. Many of them have dual monitor setups, making this one very practical.

They also purchased a separate 100W PD GaN charger to keep permanently connected to the hub so the laptop would stay on charge while connected, freeing up the original charger for mobile applications.

USB C Charger, Evatronic 100W 2 USB-C Ports PD PPS Wall Charging Adapter [GaN Tech]

And not knowing if your monitor came with a Displayport cable, this is the water clients purchased most often.

Capshi VESA Certified DisplayPort Cable 1.4, 8K DP Cable 6.6FT (8K@60Hz, 4K@144Hz, 2K@240Hz) HBR3 Support 32.4Gbps, HDCP 2.2, HDR10 FreeSync G-Sync

It's VESA 1.4 Certified, in our clients have found it to be the most trouble free.

Hope this gives you an idea, with more information. We can give you some validation.
