Another thing you can give out (which is a bit cheaper) is just the microphone: http://www.amazon.com/Zalman-Zm-Mic1-Sensitivity-Headphone-Microphone/dp/B00029MTMQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1432664272&sr=8-1&keywords=Zalman+mic.
Surprisingly it has great mic quality, though you will need to keep it fairly close to your face. I assume most people have speakers, lol.
I love my 668B's they don't have a mic so that might be important to you. You could get one of these and it clips onto the cable
If you already have headphones, this would be a decent choice:
I have had no trouble with this.
I just use it for Skype calls with a friend or two though. All three of us have one and with a nice set of speaker the quality sounds like they are in the room.
You should check out Modmic
Zalman is also an option. Bought a Modmic myself several months ago, had a set of decent headphones sitting around that I never used, attached the modmic to them, been using the combo ever since. Being able to detach the modmic from the headphones is very nice.
