Yeah warranty is still valid. I went on amazon and this used 5000w for $100, you can probably find some on facebook for cheap or you could get an electrician to come put a 220v outlet/breaker in the house. You'd want to get one with at least 33% more power than required so that would be 2000w. I was scared the machine wouldn't work since it was bought overseas and on ebay so I wanted to cover all power draw concerns so I went with 5000w cus it was a better deal. Plus I can now use other european or 220v appliances no problem if I find them cheaper
