My advice is to find the European release of TNG on Blu Ray. It is region free (meaning it will work in any Blu Ray player on the planet), and on average CLOSE to half off of what the US version goes for.

If possible, I suggest getting the PAL versions of the blu rays since they will work in all regions (yes, on your Blu Ray player too), and they are (comparatively) way cheaper. It's what I did.

The same cannot be said for the companion sets for DS9 and VOY since those are still region locked DVDs
