I have a Cap 45lbs vest. It's ok. I don't think it has enough padding. At least the one I got 4 years ago. I didn't really use it much so honestly can't say. I only work out at a gym, so I would be lugging a 45lbs vest along with all my other calisthenics stuff. Ya, I'm that guy at the gym that has $$$$$$$$$$$ of weight lifting stuff and I bring all my own stuff and only use the floor and a bar overhead.

I have Kensui EZ vest Pro as well. It makes it easy to carry to the gym. I really only use it for weighted stretching. I have the V1...version 1 vest. It didn't have enough padding, but Kensui came up with added padding that corrected that. It fits comfortably and you have full range of overhead motion. The V2 has the extra padding already built in and looks like Kensui came up with a better way to strap the vest in place (I don't have the V2 vest). V1 used Velcro, V2 looks like it just clips in. How much weight the vest can hold depends on the thickness of the weight plates though, so take what is advertised for that with a grain of salt. I only put one plate front and back. I'm not really concerned with having much more than 30lbs total.....because I use body weight lever to up the challenge. Just a 25lbs plate on my back gets me into full pancake. Well, I don't even need that anymore, but early on using the vest really helped me with pancake stretch.

I also have this vest, the 45lbs version. Pretty sure it comes out of the same Chinese factory the ThenX Chris Heria (I know you guys hate him, whatever). It's a really good vest. Comfortable, full range of motion like you are not wearing a weighted vest, way way better than the 45lbs CAP vest I have. I don't really use it that much. I got it because the problem with the Kensui vest is the distribution of weight between front and back.

Like I said, I only really use it for weighted stretching. Using body weight in a lever is already more than challenging for me. You already can do a couple HSPU's. That is already more challenging for you to do than if you scale it back using added weight in an easier pike push up. If you got $$$ to throw around, sure. But why not just try to do 3 HSPU's?

edit: The time to buy is @ now though. Black Friday deals, not sure if buying though Amazon gets that.
