I do it to everything I have that isn't tritium or fiber optic. Love it.

I use Birchwood Casey sight markers. All blacked-out rears using this one, and then a bright orange front one using these ones. To get the color to pop, I do 2 base coats of white then 2-3 coats of color.

Comes off extremely easily with acetone (nail polish remover) if you want to experiment with colors. You can get into detail work and dots with a toothpick if that floats your boat.

I've tried the glow in the dark sight paint as well, and it works really well as long as the bad guy times his attack within 15-20 minutes of your painted sights being exposed to a bright light to charge it up. It's a novelty product, not a useful one.
