Amazon reviews for electronics are clumped together for all generations/variations of a product. Here we have 7 choices of routers, but no matter which one you click, reviews are the same.
It would be awesome if someone could separate these reviews into corresponding products. Some people mention what product they are reviewing, maybe pulling info from there.

This Netgear is a pretty good one.
Lower than 100. But not cheap enough you will be cursing it every day.
This is gonna sound so lame but I upgraded my wireless router - got this one at about 50% off - my airport extreme has been fucking up lately - which sucks because I really like it. But my printer is having problems connecting to it and the firmware finally stopped updating on it.
I am in Mosher Hall and I am able to get switch ethernet to work. Although, It is slower than wifi. First, get a router (I got this one). Disable the wireless transmission, so it is basically a gigabit switcher (real gigabit switchers don't work on TAMU wifi). Second, get a USB to ethernet adapter (I recommend the one from Hori). Plug everything in and you should have access to Switch Online.
you wont be happy with the wifi speeds of a n450 class router. this one is GOOD. https://smile.amazon.com/R7000-100PAS-Nighthawk-Parental-Controls-Compatible/dp/B00F0DD0I6/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=wifi+router&qid=1573379646&sr=8-10
but if you dont want to spend that much this one is half the price (but has slower wifi - not as slow as the n450 https://smile.amazon.com/NETGEAR-R6700-Nighthawk-Gigabit-Ethernet/dp/B00R2AZLD2/ref=sr_1_22_sspa?keywords=wifi+router&qid=1573379646&sr=8-22-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFPSzZSSkhVN0NSODgmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA4Mjk2MzBRRDY4TzFZQlhHWlomZW5jcnlwdGVkQWRJZD1BMDEyMzUzMDFVNDdWVVdMVE9DRjEmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9idGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
