For muscle building and muscle optimization, I use the following:
This is like $1 more per pound. It tastes good and pretty much everyone I know takes it.
Depends entirely on what type of exercise you're doing, what your goals are, etc. If you're lifting weights, can't really go wrong with:
ON Whey Protein: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QSNYGI/
ON Creatine: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002DYIZEE/
Plenty of flavours, but the chocolate should go well with chocolate milk (or regular milk to turn that into chocolate milk)
Just buy it on Amazon it's cheaper anyways

I highly recommend Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Extreme Milk Chocolate. In water, this stuff tastes like chocolate milk. In milk, it tastes like a chocolate milkshake. Otherwise, don't use too much water or else it will taste diluted, I recommend about 8oz of water for 1 scoop.
I've also tried Chocolate Malt, Vanilla Icecream, Double Rich Chocolate, Chocolate Mint, and Cookies and Cream. Cookies and Cream is the only flavor I have not liked. Everything else tastes great per its supposed flavor.
Here is the link. (Note: you have to select 10 pounds to get maximum discount)
I have absolutely no idea why I'm getting downvoted.
Never underestimate the power of a good whey protein. I saw some serious gains when I first started working out by just eating balanced meals and mixing in protein shakes in the morning and after workouts.
Whether you need an additional supplement depends on your goals and your current weight. Your flair shows that you're sitting at 115 and going for 125, is that accurate? If so, I think you'd be set with getting consistent protein and eating big as often as you can.
[edit] I prefer Optimum Gold Standard (Amazon link). I've seen it on there for cheaper than it's current price, but it's still not a terrible deal.
Not really, hemp force is $40 bucks for 400 grams, Gold Standard is $29 for 900-ish grams.
Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard, Double Rich Chocolate, 5 Pound, 80 Ounce
Depending on what type of foods you're looking for, eBay might be another source, as well as Jet.com
... the exact same price on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Optimum-Nutrition-Standard-Double-Chocolate/dp/B000QSNYGI
Which is still more expensive than going into my local brick a mortar store and buying it.
Literally, this is not a deal at all.
EDIT: this is just comparing the prices as they show when clicking the link, i brain farted and mised the whole coupon code thing.
Does anyone know if gold standard tastes any good?
Edit: How about this one vs a cheaper option?
