I used this ice wrap from amazon and it was INCREDIBLE. I have it to my brother once I reached 6 months post op. He has pain from a surgery years ago for a broken tib/fib and nothing seems to help, but this surprisingly helps him a lot. Maybe because there’s a little compression? I just love that it wraps around the whole knee so that even the back of your knee gets iced. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B079JX3J4W?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
I'm a big fan of my ice pack that I got off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Vive-Knee-Pack-Wrap-Osteoarthritis/dp/B079JX3J4W/
Provides decent compression, and the insert packs cover all around the knee, not just the front. I had an ice machine, but this is what I used when I ran out of ice.
Would recommend getting a second set of inserts for it, as you can cycle them in and out of your freezer. Later on in your recovery, if you're instructed to alternate ice/heat, you'll have the second set for that, too.
