I removed a couple of these that were in a plaster ceiling, and it was a major PIA. I didn't want to patch a lath and plaster celling and wanted to upgrade to LED's throughout my house. When someone remolded my house, they had access to drop in new construction cans like the Juno from the second floor, then they installed new flooring upstairs.
I had to cut it apart with a Dremel tool and blew through a dozen (or more) cutting wheels. then it is getting your arm up in the hole, and cutting the heck out of it (arm and fixture) to get the brackets to bust loose, but all by feel. I actually left the body of the can in the ceiling and wired in a low profile (can-less) LED I used these for the 6" replacements instead of a remodel drop in can.
