The process should be the same...3 or 4 clips in each fender well, the clips and 2 torx bolts under the hood in the middle and just yank the bumper cover forward.
I just had to replace a blown low beam on my 2015. Didn't have to totally remove the bumper cover. It was enough space afterwards to pull the headlight forward and replace the bulbs.

Plenty bright for me without the stupid colors.
Bought these to replace the OEM's, they are much whiter and brighter, but still not impressed, but I don't do much night driving enough to replace them.
