I've tried a different pair of whitins that were described as min/bare/toe but when I got them, they weren't really any of those things lol. They were okay but I returned them because I was expecting something else.
I don't think I'm a fan of whitins
TSLA Men's Trail Running Shoes, Lightweight Athletic Zero Drop Barefoot Shoes, Non Slip Outdoor Walking Minimalist Shoes https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088T7VRGN/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_14YJCKWKHB9Q9ZPRWS29
I have these shoes as well but when I bought them a year ago they were $25. True barefoot/minimalist, wide toe box, etc. They're like older Merrill vaporgloves but wider and thinner. The top review on this listing compares Merrills to these.
Withstood 10 mile concrete runs, trail runs, hiking through forests and dunes, and walking through water.
Started to tear a bit my the toe after a year and a half.
Highly recommend for a budget shoe.

I really like these. I bought them for around $25 though at the start of the pandemic. They're like $40ish now
