Hello, I'm using LG C2 for about a month now and I have few questions, I don't feel like making separate thread at the moment as this thread is one of the first results in Google for this topic.
1.) Recently I noticed that some of my text - usually when it's red - looks really blurry. In general the display looks ok but it's noticeably worse than retina display on my Mac (MacBook Pro 2018 15"). I've found someone's comment on this website: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ode-to-42-lg-oled.2351705/
I'd warn against using these with a Mac. You will be limited to 4K 60 Hz 10-bit 4:2:0 if you don't do EDID overrides to disable 10-bit color. 4:2:0 is absolutely awful for desktop use as e.g red and blue texts will look like garbage. With MacOS not offering the option to set bit depth or chroma subsampling, it just chooses a bad option for these TVs. HDR support was also very erratic whether it worked or not and with the display forced to 8-bit color the HDR option became unavailable.
Does it mean that I can't do anything about it and it will be always like that? In general, can I do anything to make my display look like my MacBook screen?
2.) For some reason my TV is not displayed as "LG C2" in Settings (I remember it was like that for a while at the beginning) but as LG TV SSCR2. Does anyone know if this is an issue and should I do anything about it?
3.) At this moment I'm using BYEASY USB C to HDMI Adapter (4K&60HZ) with UGREEN HDMI 2.1 4K 120Hz 1m cable. Is anyone able to verify if this is good setup to get the best experience on LG C2 with my Mac?

4.) Could anyone suggest best macOS setting for LG C2 (like colour profile and other stuff)?
5.) Is it worth to use HDR for work? I do a lot of programming so most of the time I'm looking on the code editor, browser and terminal - in general a lot of text in different colours.
Thanks everyone for replying in this thread!
