I can't speak for scalp picking, but I bite and pick terribly at the skin around my fingers and face. Right now I am embarrassingly enamored with this: the human equivalent of a chew toy. I feel like a happy, dopey puppy. I also wear fidget rings on each of my hands and play with whatever the heck this thing is kinda endlessly (the squishy plastic bits feel smooth and I can dig into it with my nails). Alongside wearing press nails and this truly repulsive garbage, I'm doing better. Goodluck!
