Most people are correct in that most good DSLRs are around 1000. However, Panasonic makes some great micro 4/3 for under 1000. Also, a GOPRO is a good alternative as well.
As for mics is depends on the place, you are recording. Room acoustics are as important as the mic you are using. If you don't have a sound treated room, a dynamic mic is the best, unless you can use Nvidia broadcast (can only be used with Nvidia RXT cards.) If you have a computer with Nvidia RXT card, then I recommend Elgato wave mic. If not, then the Beacn mic is great as well.

80 and 85 have to do with which market is sold in.

I think besides the market origin, the 85 comes setup with NTSC and the 80 had PAL.
I believe they can be changed regardless. But I may be wrong.
