There's the base kit for $40 and the deluxe kit for $80 (US prices).

The deluxe kit includes the sandbag (sand not included), the Special Ops DVD, some portioned food containers and a drink cup.

If you want the sandbag, then the deluxe kit is a reasonable price. Beachbody sells the sandbag alone for $35, which seems competitive with other, similar sandbags. Plus, you get the Spec OPs workouts for essentially another $5. ($35 + $5 = $40 extra for deluxe kit)

If you don't want the sandbag but want the Spec Ops dvd, you can buy it separately from Amazon for $23

Base kit + Spec Ops = $40 + $23 = $63

I'm undecided; it's kind of hard to know if I want to bother with the sandbag before I do the workouts.

Anyone have an opinion re. the sandbag? Worth it? Not needed? Or buy an alternative elsewhere?

Edit: I just saw tokenzombie's post stating that the sandbag isn't necessary. I think I'll just go with the base kit and Spec Ops for $63.
