The best, but most expensive thing to do would be buying a modded standard controller like a scuf. You can customize the controller all you want, have extra-buttons and you can get the rumble-packs removed, which is what i did to mine and let me tell you, it's great. I can use the controller wired or wireless, but it's extremely light while still mantaining the quality of a standard xbox/ps-controller. You get extra things too, like trigger stops and fine-tuning, different swapable sticks, extra grip and so on.

It's about 160 € though, so if that's too high i'd maybe look into Hori-controllers. It's a not so well known company from japan but has very good reviews over all. I got my girlfriend the Horipad Pro, which was about 50 €, is pretty lightweight and the design is similar to a PS-controller. It got extra-buttons too, which are really useful in a lot of games, not soley MP-games. Xbox-Button works too afaik.
