Yea! After asking my frequent concert goer buddies/coworkers/pro musicians that I know of, it seem they really like/use these! (All from Amazon though if you don't mind that)
I haven't used any of these personally as I am just starting to make the habit of protecting my hearing at loud events, but I'm considering on going with the Alpines since they seem to be most bang for your buck and was the most suggested.
I asked about those foam earplugs you get on airplanes just to understand the difference and while they are the cheapest, they tend to drown out the sound rather than filtering if that makes sense. Musicians earplugs specifically should still enable us to hear, just at a safer volume and you should still be able to converse with people around you wearing these :)

I have these. Seriously, don't go to another show without some kind of earplugs. You do not want tinnitus, I cannot stress this enough.
These are a little bit pricier than what everyone else is recommending but I've tried Etymotics before & have to say hands down that these are a lot better in terms of comfort, filtering out the noise but not drowning it out because music sounds crisper + sharper with these in your ear. They're called Eargasms, and are some of the most incognito earplugs I've seen. You can't even tell that you're wearing them if unless someone looks at you from the profile view. Only downside is if you drop this out of your ear, it's really bouncy + clear so it will be hard to find. I've already lost a couple inside of the club.
I've used these with good success:
I have a similar problem. Everyday sounds, especially talking, have been bothering me a lot too.
I'm considering noise-filtering earplugs. The ones I've found are supposed to lower the volume of the sound you hear while still allowing you to hear well enough to have conversations or listen to music, and also be mostly invisible. There are several companies that make them, but the one that seems the most reliable to me so far is called Eargasm.
Here are links to the Eargasm earplugs, from amazon and Eargasm's website: https://eargasmearplugs.com/ https://www.amazon.com/Eargasm-Musicians-Motorcycles-Sensitivity-Conditions/dp/B019M576XW/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1540950575&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=eargasm%2Bhigh%2Bfidelity%2Bear%2Bplugs&th=1
I think I'm going to order them soon, but I'm worried they won't actually work as well as they claim. I can't recommend them since I haven't tried them, but I thought I'd share in case they sound like what you need.
I don't know if that's what you're looking for, or if you'd rather just completely block out sound and not hear their conversations at all. If you would like to completely block out sound, maybe consider regular foam earplugs like some use for sleeping? They would be less visible than headphones.
Take care of your ears and your kids' ears, it gets very dangerously loud:
We also use them at the movies nowadays, is ridiculously and unnecessary loud.
If your kids like to wander or are curious enough to get out of the stroller and go check rabbit's house away from you, then I'd recommend securing their MagicBand(cast members will scan it and contact you) or an AirTag and these Quick Stick Write-on! Child ID Tattoos NEW (Beach 6pk
I've recently bought earplugs specifically for Twice coming up. I've only been going to concerts since last year with my first being BTS at Las Vegas and I've been to a bunch since without much issue. However at the last concert I went to (Agust D/Suga) I knew I had to get a set. There was a part when he told the crowd to scream and egged them on to get louder. I felt the inside of my body vibrate and I honestly thought I'd pop my eardrums. When I got home I still had some ringing and a bit of a headache but thankfully it wore off but that was a wake up call. I'm seated right between the main and extended stage when I see Twice in July so it's definitely going to be loud.
I'll admit I splurged and bought some Eargams along with the connecter. I had a big Amazon balance I didn't touch so why not? Twice will be ghe first test of them but it's tough to ignore the reviews.
I work at nightclubs in Vegas, I’ve been using Eargasm because it isolates heavy noises while still allowing clarity to hear people talking.
That being said, depending on how far up you are the highs will still sound through. Used them for LIB close up front and they worked great
I use these. I like them way more than the etymotic's, but the carrying case kinda sucks on a key ring.
