I have the same Pelican 1300. I ordered this keyboard and ditched the tablet cover: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017HLXESO/ The dimensions for the keyboard are 7.9 x 5.0 x 0.24 inches. The keyboard is considerably smaller than normal -- think of it like typing on a 7" tablet with full screen keyboard and that's about the right size. The touchpad is small but works. It fits in the Pelican 1300, but I don't have mine setup as a cyberdeck, so I just toss the keyboard in on top of a couple powerbanks and Pi4.
