There's a green OBD dongle that you can get on Amazon for $20-30 that I used on my 2010 Tundra. Worked just fine. Just make sure your new key matches the old key. It should have a G, an H, or a dot on the key right by where it meets the plastic. My FOB/key pack came with a dot key when I needed the G key, but the FOBs packed with the wrong key wound up being cheaper, so I just bought a G key separate. I got the key cut at Ace Hardware for $5. The marginal reviews on the dongle are because of the funky printed instructions or people using the wrong key. You'll want to Google Youtube videos of people using that programmer with your specific vehicle.
