I'm a fan of this
i put cheap fresh tea bags into my shoes, usually that keeps them fresher longer and helps a bit with the drying, also like the other guy said, keep them out of a bag and in open air. or get something like this.. http://www.amazon.com/PEET-M97-FSB-Original-2-Shoe-Electric/dp/B001J4HQ76/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418741921&sr=8-1&keywords=boot+dryer+peet
but I will warn you it may stink up your house, keep it in the garage
Get a boot fan, dry them suckers out whenever you get a chance.
It's gonna vary by shoe for sure, but this is the best way https://www.amazon.com/PEET-Dryer-Original-2-Shoe-Electric/dp/B001J4HQ76/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=boot+dryer&qid=1555512778&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1
The Peet one. They are convection based and do not have a fan so they are quiet. https://www.amazon.com/PEET-Original-2-Shoe-Electric-Dryer/dp/B001J4HQ76 They also sell multi foot ones.
You might want to try one of these. Recommended by a custom boot maker for care of their boots. Made in the USA, I believe. Other companies make boot dryers, too. Just do a search on Amazon for boot dryers if you don't like the look of the one for which I'm about to leave a link.
Here's a link to a short video on Amazon that compares a few different models of boot dryer, including the one I left a link to above.

Edit: The Peet boot dryer does not come with an on/off switch. Read the first full answer to this question posted under the product. This person put it on a timer, which I thought was a great idea.

It can't hurt. I had the same issue with an older pair of Vans Auras, and while it certainly wasn't a perfect solution, I think it helped out a bit at least.
I ended up picking a cheapo Peet boot dryer for like $30. It doesn't help keep them any drier, but it at least helps them get dry after riding. It's especially helpful for back-to-back riding days.
I use the PEET Electric boot dryer when I'm diving a lot and need them dry the next day. It doesn't have fans, just a heating element at the bottom that causes warm air to rise into your boots/gloves so it still takes overnight. The forced air version might be faster but ive been happy with the standard one.

I might have grabbed this one so I could do boots and gloves at the same time if I were to do it again
