Ingredients:
6 oz grated sharp cheddar
raisin bread
thick cut bacon
cooked 1 red delicious apple, cut into very thin wedges
cream cheese
Brown sugar
cinnamon
Method:
1) First, pre heat your oven to 350 degrees.
2) Then, take some tin foil and place your sliced apples in it. Sprinkle those with some brown sugar and just a pinch of cinnamon.
3) Wrap this up and then place it in the oven for about 45 minutes or until the apples are soft.
4) Once they are ready, get out your raisin bread and spread some cream cheese on one slice.
5) Then top that with a little of your cheddar, then your baked apples, then the bacon, and finally the rest of your cheddar.
6) Melt some butter in a non-stick pan and when it’s hot, place your sandwich in. It helps if you have something heavy to place on top of the sandwich like one of these…http://www.amazon.com/Norpro-Enamel-Cast-Panini-Press/dp/B0002IBQVC.
7) In about 30-45 seconds, flip your sandwich, and add more butter if needed. Keep flipping every 30-45 seconds until the cheese is all melted. The raisin bread burns pretty easily so be careful.
8) Once everything is melted, just take it off, cut it and watch as your friends turns into whirling derbishes as they devour it.
