I just edited my post, I was thinking about reading What Is Mathematics? first, and then reading through A History of Mathematics. I would do this in my free time and I wouldn't rush; it will take me how much it takes me.
With these 2 books, could I cover all of the elementary school math, high school math, and college math (by college math I mean single and multivariable calculus, statistics, probability, logic, discrete mathematics and linear algebra)?
