so that the video input is coming from my camcorder
If your camcorder has HDMI output, any one of these should work nicely:

You may find it more convenient to use your smartphone's camera:
Just install Iriun Webcam on your computer and phone (an optional $4.50 payment gets rid of a logo watermark).
Works great with Zoom, Skype, etc...

I use a cheap capture card I found on Amazon for my GX85 to do the same thing. I then use OBS Studio to create a virtual webcam I use for Zoom and Teams. I use a “DC coupler” I found on Amazon for continuous power.
Similar setup should work for you. I would check battery compatibility or someone here may let you know if it’s the same specs for your model.

What is the main difference with Elgato 4k versus a video converter like this one?
Cam Link
elgato is pretty expensive 208$ to use the DSLR as a webcam, I found this one USB 2.0 but I am not shure if will work: capture video
This guy just popped up on Amazon a couple weeks ago and actually works really well based on the reviews I've seen (waiting on mine, it ships direct from Hong Kong). I also have a camlink, but they're crazy marked up right now with everyone stuck at home.
