I like Neutrogena Ultra Sheer spray. It dries down quickly so you don’t get quite as sandy and the spray makes it easy to frequently reapply yourself.

My second recommendation would be the Neutrogena Kids Beach Defeno, they’re both water resistant for up to 80 minutes and the beach defense leaves a bit more reside(?)
