I have the rest of my home fitted with various Hue lights, and I wanted the same level of control and theme color options with this desk space, so that’s why I went with it. I think it works out pretty great. :)

Good find! I see another deal they have is the 2 pack play bar for $120 or you can get a 2 pack play bar and hub for $110. I wonder why it's cheaper with the hub? Only reason I'd get the hub is to give it to my in-laws as I have a few extra white bulbs I've since replaced.

Others may have different 'varying milage', personally I have a 3 monitor setup and to have some more backlighting I bought the 2 play-bar starter kit, each one is sitting behind the two seams where all the monitors meet.

Works great for me.
