Cheapest way through Amazon would be to buy a year of Xbox Live Gold, redeem it (only if you don't already have Ultimate on the account), and then buy a month of Xbox Ultimate Game Pass (which comes with PC game pass) and only redeem it after you have the Gold on your account. If you buy Ultimate directly through Xbox you can probably get your first month for just $1, but I think you need to be able to enter in a credit card or Paypal to be able to buy it, even if you credit from a gift card. If you don't have a credit card, you can instead buy one month of Ultimate from Amazon for a little more.

If you did it correctly you'll end up with at least 1 year and 1 month of Game Pass Ultimate.
