I’m a big fan of serological pipettes with a pipette controller and also having a graduated cylinder for making sure sediment falls out of your naphtha.
I like the serological pipette with controller because there’s just a small toggle switch to press to pull, meaning I can be super steady with the tip of the pipette in the solution and not have to worry about sucking up black goo. Works extremely well. You squeeze the bulb, it holds pressure. You SLOWLY(practice w water and make sure you don’t get it in the controller although they do disassemble for cleaning) just press the switch up to draw up, and press it down to release. So much easier than squeezing a bulb steadily.
MAKE SURE YOU GET GLASS PIPETTES ONLY! The cheap blue ox are plastic! The one I linked is glass. You can type “glass serological pipette 25ml” which I feel the 25ml is the ideal size. It’s about a foot long and one pump fills it well twice.
