DO NOT BUY the A-Zoom snap caps, they constantly jam when cycling the slide and really suck overall IMO, they seem too small/smaller than regular bullet...
DONT BUY THESE, imo: https://www.amazon.com/ZOOM-15116-Luger-Precision-Snap/dp/B0002IKANW/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=azoom&qid=1601605595&sr=8-1
Just get yourself some snap caps. They’re only like ten dollars. Holy fuck, some of y’all are cheap or lazy as hell.
Amazon sells the A-zoom brand (which are the best). Save yourself an earful of hate and save your gun by just buying the fucking things. You can use them to train around misfires/jams as well.
My experience is with pistol dryfire so I can't really speak to long gun stuff if that's what you're into.
That said, when I started I picked up one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08L89ZZHR/
It was cool at first because you get feedback in the form of a red dot (or if using the phone app, you also get an audible ping and you can see the hits), but then I found myself looking for the dot of the laser instead of watching what my sights were doing. And since the laser only shows up for a split second, you stop paying attention to the sights because you're looking for the hit. Kind of the opposite of what you want to do (in both dry and live fire).
Instead, what I'd recommend are snap caps: https://www.amazon.com/ZOOM-15116-Luger-Precision-Snap/dp/B0002IKANW/. Opinions differ on whether or not they are strictly necessary for dryfire, but you can certainly use them for plenty of other stuff, like working through malfunction drills, or doing ball and dummy drills in live fire.
In all honesty though, as long as the laser cartridge gets you to do more dryfire and you're seeing good results in live fire as a result, that's all the matters.
