How much are you okay with spending? A thunderbolt docks would be the best option a cleaning up cords while still being able to drive that massive curved display.
I just went through validating a bunch of thunderbolt docks for a client to give to his end users using a Dell Latitude Laptop and 2x1440p@60 displays.
Here's the shortlist from that validation:
Dock | Notes | Price | link |
---|---|---|---|
Dell WD22TB4 | The WD22TB4 Thunderbolt4 dock would certainly be able to drive your Wide 1440p @ 100Hz. I have this dock and it works great with my dual 1440p@75hz so it should have no issue with your better display. It should honestly be able to drive two of your display if you felt so inclined. There are 2 downstream Thunderbolt4 ports so you could get really fancy down the road and plugin an EGPU or some other Thunderbolt device. It can do up 130W Power Delivery which is far more then the 65w that your Latitude will need. It has a built in fan that can get be quite noticeable if you're in a quiet room. With headphones on or with ambient noise you'd never hear it however. | $259.99 - $289.99 | Dell Direct |
Dell WD19TBS | The WD19TBS is the older Thunderbolt3-based brother of the WD22TB4. It will drive your displays but can only do 90w of USB PD. It has the same fan as its younger brother so wear headphones or put on some music. It only features a single downstream Thunderbolt 3 port limiting future expansion. You'd be limited to a single wide 1440p display with this one. You could possible add another 1440p or 4K is you used a USB-C adapter of the downstream Thunderbolt3 port. This dock has been discontinued but their pretty cheap on eBay. If you want new you can get it from a 3rd party seller on Amazon. | New - $180, Used - $90 | eBay, Amazon |
Plugable TBT4-UDZ | This Thunderbolt4 dock's biggest claim to fame is its 2.5GB Ethernet port. But if you don't have a 2.5GB wired network then that benefit is just wasted. It can do 90w+ Power Delivery and has more then enough ports for anything you may want to throw at it (Mouse, Keyboard, Webcam). Should be able drive Wide 1440p@100hz no issue. It can be placed either horizontally or vertically with the included stand however the Thunderbolt upstream port to your laptop is on the front which just kind of looks bad in my opinion, especially if you're trying to use it to clean up cable clutter. It does not have a fan so the metal case will get hot. Not enough to burn you but warm enough to be startling if you touch it. Depending on your desk and what its made out of I could totally see it discoloring it or whatever its sitting on from heat. | $269-$299 | Amazon |
Plugable TBT3-UDZ | This is the older Thunderbolt 3 version of the TBT-UDZ for. It only has 1GBe and two fewer USB ports but I feel like thats a decent trade off for the upstream port being on the back so you can have a cleaner looking desk. It also gets hot like its TB4 brother but not as hot, but still concerning. Also has the same horizontal and vertical options. Should be able to drive your wide 1440p. | $200-$260 | Amazon |
Cable Matters 107044 | From what I can tell Cable Matters went to the ODM that Plugable used for the TBT3-UDZ and said "Gimme what he's having." I literally cannot tell the difference other then it when I was testing it was only $200 vs the $260 that Plugable is asking for. | $200 | Amazon |
Edit: Should also mention that we looked at the Caldigit TS4 but its $400 price tag made it a non-starter even though was the best out of all of them.
Overall we ended up going with the WD22TB4 for my client as its warranty and fits best with having a standard setup for the end users. We were going to go with the WD19TBS but the discontinuation put some concerns about support in the field over time and wanted to future proof. Personally, however, I kept the Cable Matters dock for my personal setup for use with my Lenovo Legion 5 Pro.
There are a large number of Thunderbolt3 docks used on eBay that will almost certainly do what you're wanting and can be had for far cheaper then new if you're willing to work as well.
Hope that helps!
