Don't mind the plastic still on the screen and camera, still like to retain that 'new feel' for a bit until I remove it. Currently using a caseology matte finish case for my nexus 5. Took some pictures of it with my galaxy nexus and some personal comments about the case : It doesn't add much bulk to the phone itself. I'd say its a 'slim fit' type of case. The cut outs for the phone are pretty spot on and the back has this weird texture to it, though not as grippy as the phone itself. However the sides of the case which are plastic offers a ton of extra grip to the case.
I'm going to start with a diztronic TPU: http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Matte-Black-Flexible-Nexus/dp/B00FZ14E3S/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1383757263&sr=1-1&keywords=diztronic+nexus+5
Looks simple and protective enough which is perfect for me...if I don't like it I may grab this one: http://www.amazon.com/Caseology-Finish-Flexible-Hybrid-Google/dp/B00FEBU1ZO/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1383757263&sr=1-3&keywords=diztronic+nexus+5
edti: spigen also has a bunch of different models that looks nice. Here's one: http://www.amazon.com/Non-Slip-Spigen-Japanese-Protector-Excellent/dp/B00EV8Y50S/ref=sr_1_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1384450194&sr=1-2&keywords=spigen+nexus+5
Got 2 caseology cases. One is black leather and the other is a turquoise for my wife. Love the cases. I like the look of the leather better but I have to say I like the feel of the other one. The leather makes my hands sweat more than they normally do so if I placed another order, I would go with the black matte version. I had a cruzerlite case before and it was really nice too. If I had to pick one, I would go with the caseology black matte because it has a rougher texture so it won't slip out of my hands as easily. Either way, both are great.
Note that some people are having problems with this case though. The side with the cut out for the power is big enough to allow access to the sim tray so that took a little getting used to. Some are also saying that the case is messing with the flash, not a problem on mine that I have noticed.
