Little Things
We use Pampers Swaddlers. They're great because they have a notch for the umbilical cord and they have this line that runs the bottom of the diaper that can tell you if they pissed their britches or not (yellow turns blue-ish green). For diaper ointment, we rolled with Boudreaux's Butt Paste. It's local, it works, we had a coupon for it. It is more expensive than desatin ($9 vs. $5), so I don't know if we'll stick with it. My wife has chosen to run with these breast pads. When women breast feed, they leak all the damn time, so they use these to absorb the excess baby fuel. These are disposable, and the wife is considering getting a washable ones to see what works best for her.
