I’m not sure if it’ll work with the T5; but it worked for the Samsung FIT Plus 256GB that I initially bought and used until it couldn’t keep up write speed wise after they added the 4th camera. I replaced that with a Rocketek microSD USB adapter and a SanDisk 128GB high endurance microSD card.
Connecting directly I get an insufficient power message for either with the non-powered camera adapter; connecting through the Sabrent 3 port hub I bought for the car for whatever reason makes it work. It doesn’t make much sense to me other than perhaps the hub isn’t passing some power demand request in negotiations to the phone. Not sure if it’ll work with other hubs.

I have this one, which is nice because it’s compact but can feel a little insecure since the weight of the cables is hanging off of the car’s USB port. The one you posted will take more room but might actually be better since it can rest on the bottom of the storage area.
