Panacur/Safeguard/Fenbendazole is effective against roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and Giardia. It is safe in pregnant and young animals. It is relatively expensive compared to other dewormers, but is one of our best treatment options for Giardia. Panacur must be given for 3 consecutive days to treat whipworms, and 5 days to treat Giardia. Panacur/Safeguard/Fenbendazole kills Roundworms, Hookworms, Giardia, and Pinworms.
