I think I am going to build off of your plan here. I have a pancake Craftsman I can just leave in my garage, piggy back off of a hole between the garage and my how water heater closet and snake the hose to my basement where I paint. Then I just need to plug it in when I am ready and ill have zero noise where I do the work.
If this is the case, then all need to do is dump a few bucks into a decent airbrush and I am already better off than I was before.
What is the name of the piece between the hose and the brush? The 2nd regulator? Would it be something like this?
