Depending on your needs (looks a little more in-depth than mine), but I use this guy when I travel https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00X5RV14Y/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_old_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use it to charge my tablet, phone, and Kindle and I've never had a problem. If you do take it all the way down, it will take a while to recharge, but I think I've used it to fully charge my phone 5x on a charge and had no complaints
Just gonna throw in my two cents. At $60 you'd be better getting an Anker battery. You can charge your phone like 10 times on one recharge.
Anker 20100mAh Portable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X5RV14Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_1gLwAbNHWXNTX
It's marketed as a 20000mAh, but I see your point. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-20000mAh-Portable-Charger-PowerCore/dp/B00X5RV14Y
Anker Amazon Link
I bought this Anker power block for Coachella last year and it lasted me all weekend! I believe it charges an iPhone 6 5-6 times, and it's portable enough to bring in your backpack: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-20100-Capacity-Technology/dp/B00X5RV14Y
Also, someone in my camp brought a camping shower. Soooo much better than waiting in that female shower line...
As I am writing this, the Anker 20,000 mAH(Yes you read that number right) is an Amazon Prime Deal of the Day at $26.99, instead of $39.99. This lasts for another 11 hours as of 12:44 PM PST
Damn. One option would be to pair it with an 3rd party battery bank like this or cheaper (lower capacity) and plug in via USB-c so you only have to recharge both the battery and the buddy once a month.
https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh/dp/B00X5RV14Y?th=1
You'd need to figure out how to keep it somewhat protected from the elements though, such as using a waterproof container for the battery and cutting out a hole for the USB-C cable and sealing it up with silicon. A pain for sure...
Ah...The model I have is $50, a bit more than that but there are other options too. I guess if you can get a full charge every time you swap that it may be worth it. In case you change your mind, here is the link to what I have.

Dynamos are rad but damn are they pricey, at least for a solid SON hub or similar. A 20k mAh battery pack can give you about 5 iPhone cycles. Stay with a warmshowers host every fifth night and that should cover basic needs. $40 on amazon. Even if you carry two of them, that's still cheaper than the basic Shimano dynamos, not to mention labor cost for installing the new hub. Plus, seems like a lot of dynamo users carry a battery anyway to harness the unused energy.
I do cross country cycling and have similar needs.
I use a 20000mah battery.
This will charge my phone about 7 times.
This lets me go a week without even seeing an outlet if I want. I charge my headlight, tail light, bluetooth speaker, phone, and bluetooth gamepad with it.
I used a solar charger in the past but I found a high capacity regular battery worked better.
This might be overkill for you, in which case I'd look at Ankers 5-10kmah models.
This question seems to come up a lot. I am using the Anker PowerCore 20100 and it works great.
This is the one I have https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X5RV14Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I haven't had it for super long but it's working phenomenally. Not too heavy, hasn't even died on me and it's been a week or two, so far. I would recommend it, especially since it's $20 less than the one you're looking at!
It'll be fine on light use, but it has much less capacity (3.4Ah vs. 20Ah = 5.8x more power stored in the 20100) and charges much slower (1A vs. 2.4A -> lipstick-sized charges at about 40% the max speed) than the 20100 that's featured as Amazon's Deal of the Day):
I’ve had one of these for a year or so and it works great.
Anker PowerCore 20,100mAh Portable Charger Ultra High Capacity Power Bank with 4.8A Output and PowerIQ Technology, External Battery Pack for iPhone, iPad & Samsung Galaxy & More (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X5RV14Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_y7a8FbH0YT20Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I use an Anker PowerCore 20,100 with dual ports as my Primary power source.
https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh/dp/B00X5RV14Y/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1545589112&sr=8-3&keywords=anker+20100)
I fly in several different aircraft that do not have the cigarette lighter port, so I need to also consider that I must provide external power to my iPad Pro running ForeFlight, especially if flying on an extended series of XC flights that could total 6 hours or more.
If the iPad is fully charged, it will be at less than 50% on its own battery after 2 hours of flight, so if you are on a series of XC flights totaling 4 to 6 hours our more, the iPad will be near ONLY 10% remaining at arrival and this is not enough safety margin for me!
The Anker will easily power both the Stratux and the iPad for this long flight duration and the iPad will remain "topped off" and still be somewhere between 85% to 95% at the end of the trip.
I also use this PortaPow Charge only cable to power the Stratux from the Anker.
This cable is perfect because it is a true 20 Gauge cable that is very flexible and will provide full power to Stratux. Other cables at 6.5 foot length use thinner gauge wire that can cause power loss that will not allow a full 1.0 Amps to be supplied to the Stratux.
Providing less than 1.0 amps would cause the Stratux to drop off line, then reconnect, only to drop off again and reconnect. Not a good scenario in an aircraft. This was an issue on my first Stratux build a couple years ago and this cable completely solved that problem.
The new Low Power radio may also help with a lower power draw, but I have not yet tested my latest build in flight to confirm.
Hope this helps

Check that one out. Based on the dimensions on the page, it is smaller than the tronsmart.
So everything below is something I have purchased myself and used. Background: I've worked mostly for cable companies and as a fiber optic lineman so I'm outside a lot and often in isolated areas.
I've started using these for water as opposed to traditional hard canteens. I do still use two quart plastic canteens for most of my water.
Good cheap backup knife, the bright red makes it hard to lose.
Bright small glowsticks, use them to mark people, places, and things.
Backup battery to charge my phone and whatnot.
A large pouch to hold whatever. I keep a couple changes of clothes in one. Food in another, and other stuff in a couple others.
Medium sized pouches.
Large-ish pouch, perfect size for the first aid kit I carry.
Reusable zipties.
A cheap flashlight.
A decent poncho.
Towels, because you're going to get wet and/or dirty.
First aid kit, because boo boos happen.
Knee pads, because sometimes you might have to crawl.
A belt that can hold pouches which can hold other supplies.
Tags that can tell others your blood type in case you can't.
An inverter for your vehicle so you can trade gas for juice.
Something to store matches or other small things you need to keep dry.
A good hammock to sleep in.
Something to cut things with.
A good small multi use screwdriver.
A backpack to carry stuff. This goes everywhere with me and holds enough to keep me going for a day or two.
Anyone looking for a portable battery, Amazon has one on sale today for a good price
Hi! You're in for such an amazing time :) Last year I purchased a cheap solar powered battery/charger off amazon which I failed to test and didn't work...womp womp. This year I have this power bank and I highly recommend it: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-20100-Capacity-Technology/dp/B00X5RV14Y It can charge your phone 6-7 times.
Last year one of my crew got a glass handle of liquor in, but I think this was only because it was buried under beer. The website does say no liquor so I'd suggest trying to hide it. Curious if others have been able to get past security wit liquor as long as it's not in glass.
As far as what else to bring--you can never have too many wet wipes!!
I am no electrician, but I don't think you can build one that works that way.
Something like this though....
This is the one I use. It's fantastic.
I got this one, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X5RV14Y/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It works amazingly. I have gone through 2 ankers. This one is so good at charging my phone. Capacity is fantastic. Smaller than you would think also
I don't know about the UK, but in the U.S. they have this one that's currently their deal of the day.
but together they weighed at least 5lbs.
Dude are you kidding me? https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh/dp/B00X5RV14Y - 20K mAh, 350g / 12.5oz
Keep your phone in airplane mode at night and while riding, and it will last you for a day (if not more with dynamo hub). Average smartphone battery is like 2500 mAh, even with some losses it's still good for a week with under one pound for the power bank.
It's obviously up to you whether you want the dedicated device or not but you certainly haven't researched the power banks enough if you think they weight over a kilo each.
I got my Anker 20k for $25 on Amazon when it was the deal of the day. Normal sticker price is $70, or standard Amazon price seems to be $40. Not sure how much your charge cables are though.
I've got the 20.000 mAh Anker Powerbank , which I really like. Portable but with a lot of power.
Got this for 27 bucks on a Prime deal, but it's well worth 40
Anker 20000mAh Portable Charger PowerCore 20100
Can not say enough about the Anker brand, own multiple products, fantastic customer service. I've never had a faulty product, but anyone who does gets a free replacement in a very timely manner.
This charger lasts forever. I'd recommend it.
