Did you decide / try anything yet?
My S10e is on its way, so I need to nail down my case decision as well. (I currently have Otterbox edit: Commuter on my older phone; great, but on the expensive side and no kickstand.) I'd like a kickstand, but not a deal breaker. My main criteria are: drop protection, doesn't degrade wireless charging performance, prefer without integrated screen protector, limited bulk / goes in-out pocket easily, durable, stays clean / doesn't attract lint, easy to remove and clean.
I'll probably go with the Ringke Fusion-X
I read this entire post early on, and again just now. I was leaning toward Spigen, but bad reviews read on Amazon has me reconsidering.
Someone elsewhere "highly recommended" the Ringke Fusion-X to me; but it doesn't have the kickstand you want. $12 to $13 on Amazon, 1.2oz, Reviews mostly positive, 'all Ringke cases have a hole for wrist strap lanyard, works perfectly with wireless charging, good grip, good front raised lip'.
Following are cases I've read on, and some notes from online reviews with Amazon's price.
I'm wondering: what do other Redditors think about the reviews compared to their experiences?
Spigen Tough Armor (the only one here w/ a kickstand) $15.99, 1.5oz ($35 from Spigen.com), PC+TPU, Reviews very problematic: front edge perimeter not raised enough to protect screen, kickstand flimsy, attracts dust and skin oils, colored versions not durable, looks dirty and old after only a few months, plastic slick/no grip, makes wireless charging almost useless.
Spigen Tough Armor XP $17.99, 1.6oz, ($40 from Spigen.com) , PC+TPU, Reviews: 'Case creates Terrible Sound Feedback to callers on phone calls, Dust / Lint Magnet, ...'
Spigen Thin Fit 360 $30 from Spigen, 1.0oz, PC, Reviews: 'Difficult to remove, integrated screen protector is a one-time install / must buy entire new case if disassembled from phone(?), cannot buy screen protector separately.'
